Patriots 28 – Steelers 21

Boom Baby! Awesome win by the Patriots last night. I have some positive and negative reviews regarding last night’s game. Lets’s start with the negative to get it out of the way.

The defense for the Pats was in full on bend but don’t break mode. The Pats gave up a ton of yards on defense and you check out the box score if you don’t believe me. The WRs for the Steelers are amazing but goodness their were some pretty bad defensive breakdowns in the New England secondary. I assume this will be addressed soon. It was obvious without Revis & Browner the Pats would suffer short term in pass defense. Giving up 351 yards to Big Ben and over 125+ on the ground to Deangelo Williams of all people is just bad. However, on a positive note the Pats made plays when they needed causing Big Ben and the steel offense to stall once they got inside the 30 yard line. The last touchdown was more of garbage time if anything. Speaking of New England missing Revis and Browner, an obvious deficiency is not having massive Wilfork up the middle to solidify the run defense. These are major concerns but when my boy Brady is at the helm running a highly efficient offense there aren’t too many teams which can keep up.

Now regarding the best offense in the league. The Brady and Gronk show must go on. These two guys are freaking unbelievable. It looks like to me Brady and Gronk will outscore the Brady and Moss combo who broke a league record for TD hookups. This is going to be another amazing and historical season for Brady in company. And yes, chalk that up to Deflatgate! Tommy is motivated and has every team in cross hairs to prove a point across the entire league. Check out some the highlights of Brady to Gronk. Not to mention, the job Beliecek did with a running back in Dion Lewis who was cut by his former team. Belicek takes Lewis off the free agent mark and makes him the starter on world championship team. The running game wasn’t dominate but they flat out got the yards needed when the run play was called.

My final thought’s on last nights game are this. Roger Goodell is the biggest coward on the history of the plant. You mean to tell me this guy could’nt show up the season opener for the league he so-called runs. I speak for most fans when I say we cannot stand this guy. The day he is fired or steps down the league will be better off. I don’t want to hear anything about how much money he generates for the league. Their are plenty of sharp business owners who generate more and have way more integrity than Goodell the idiot. Peace out until next time!! Any questions or feedback would rock. Hit me up here.
